Have you ever gone to a "life changing" seminar or event where you were sure, and maybe even promised, that things would start to be different from this moment on, only to find that you leave and come back to everyday life with a bit of a disappointed bump?
If this sounds familiar or your sitting at your PC reading this feeling like it's been a bit of a hum drum day or a non too thrilling week and when oh when is the fantasy so clearly depicted in my vision board going to finally manifest?!
I've got wonderful news.
You don't have to wait until you see the next guru, read the next self help book, do a fire walk, climb a mountain or, dare I say this, make the next appointment with your life coach, to start living more in line with your hearts true desire.
Consider this moment, this humble moment (when perhaps you decided to procrastinate just a little longer on work by reading my newsletter) as one where things really can change. In this moment - now - because after all it's really the only moment that counts, you can choose a new beginning. Here's one way:
Consider what you have planned this afternoon.
When you think about it how do you feel?
Hopefully if you were paying attention to my last newsletter you're already increasing your ability to tune into your body wisdom.
Does the prospect of the afternoons plans feel good? More specifically does it feel heavy or light? Is there a tightness in your body or a lightness in your heart?
Light/free/bliss? Great - have a good afternoon and a great weekend.
Not so light? Perhaps slight boredom, heaviness or even dread? Then read on:
If you could suspend the pressure of the impending to do list for a moment and just imagine that it were possible for you to do something a little different for your next few hours.
What might be some of the things you might like to do?
Think of them now - yes right now, no time like the present.
Keep it simple and manageable and something that doesn't require an immediate personality transplant. Got a few ideas? Great.
Now all you need to do is pick one and do it! Yep it's that simple just allow yourself temporarily to step outside of your "have to do this" mindset and your everyday life and do it.
Hey it's Friday so what the heck!
Have a good weekend, go on I dare you!
